The new blog is here finally!!

After weeks of work on such a simple looking project, the new blog look is here! As every blogger to wordpress transfer normally goes, there was a huge problem when the first transfer took place. Everything was completely reset, so I lost all my content that I had written up, and all the images had to be put back up again. *sigh* I tried really hard not to cry that night!

At any rate I’m so glad it is up, and I can focus a bit more on blogging again instead of working on this. I would be remiss if I didn’t give my husband a HUGE thanks for all his help in this project! He designed the header and buttons (isn’t he good?!!), which was good practice since he is in college right now for graphic design. 🙂

My desire is to encourage and strengthen ladies in regards to modesty. That’s where my heart lies, and I want to help however I can. If you have a question, feel free to send me an email. Chances are I will probably respond to the question through a blog post, so everyone can benefit!

As my little girls get older, I’m more and more aware of the struggle involved in dressing little girl’s modestly. Look for more posts on that topic in the weeks to come, as well as the weekly Modest Mondays posts!

I also want to continue to write from time to time about homeschooling, and parenting.

I hope you will continue to follow the blog, and I’m so grateful for my sweet readers who leave such encouraging notes, and also support us in our business as well. You all are such a blessing!

  1. Your blog looks great! I just moved to WordPress, too. I didn’t have problems with losing things, but I am not very computer or internet literate, so it’s a struggle to learn what is what and how to do it.

  5. Beautiful!!! With four daughters here, I struggle to find modest outfits. Truly enjoy all your input and teaching. I’ve recently switched to only wearing skirts! Big change of heart since the first dress I wore was my wedding dress. LOL God sure works miracles.

  12. Caroline, it’s a very lovely design! Your husband is very talented and we wish him all the best with his graphic design studies!

    I recently did a blog makeover myself, switching from free WordPress to self-hosted wordpress. There were lots of headaches and many frustrations, but the end result was completely worth it.

  15. Great look! You & your husband did a fantastic job. Doing a blog makeover is stressful whether you do it yourself or hire a designer. Mine took way longer than anticipated and lot’s of changes. In the end though it is so fun to have a fresh new look. So sorry you lost information though, that would make me cry as well. Happy Blogging!

    I’ve been a reader of your blog for a while now but this is my first time to comment. Your new blog is beautifully done! I’ve been dresses/skirts only for a short while now and there are not very many young ladies where I live with the same conviction, so it is encouraging to see others feeling led by God to the same decision.
