Feminine Friday and My Favorite Things!

My sister took me out birthday shopping last night, and we had so much fun! She asked me if I wanted to just go out shopping with her, and I could pick out my gifts. It was hard to decide, but Sean encouraged me to get out of the house and have some girl time. We went to World Market and Home Goods, and I found some really pretty things for our house. I’ve put off buying much of anything for our house (we have rented for the past 3 years), but we are hopefully getting closer to buying a house, Lord willing.

I really like navy skirts. They are not quite as formal as a black skirt, and go with almost any color top!

My Favorite Things

Dove dark chocolate – Israel (10 years old) gave me a bag of chocolate for my birthday. He was so cute about it, and knew that I would like it.

Magnesium – Reading this post from Raising Arrows on magnesium and morning sickness reminded me how grateful I am to be taking magnesium in the Biocleanse supplement I take from Plexus. I think there are a lot of different factors that go into morning sickness, but if we have another baby, I hope to be much healthier going into that pregnancy.

I was most excited about the eyeshadow, as I love Smashbox eyeshadow and use it all the time! My husband had purchased me a makeup kit for Christmas, and there are lots of lovely eyeshadows in it.

I tried the perfume and I didn’t get a headache! That is a big deal, so I’ll be wearing it again on a date night. 🙂

I’ve only tried the shampoo once, so I’m still undecided on what I think. I liked the face cleanser, the Stainiac wasn’t really my color.
