Modest Monday and a Link Up

I said I wasn’t going to post for Modest Monday again until after the baby was born, but I decided to grab my girls and let them take pictures with me. 🙂 We quickly took these before leaving for church. I was so happy to see spring colors on my girls and to have a beautiful day of sunshine and warmth!

Sean said I am in mourning because the baby has not come, which is why I’m in black. He was totally teasing, I got a good laugh out of it! Actually it’s because I knew I wasn’t going to be pregnant long for spring. I just grabbed the only maxi dress in my closet that didn’t need ironed to wear, and didn’t  worry about trying to look like spring had come. 🙂

I’m tired but it’s ok. We went for a walk Sunday evening at a local park and it was nice to get out of the house.

I quickly braided my hair and put it up in an x-large flexi clip. Now that the weather is getting a little bit warmer I’ve been putting my hair up so much more. I found a new organizer for my clips that I’ll have to share about soon. It has been so wonderful to easily find what clip I want in each size, versus having them all thrown in a basket together!

Before I end this post I have to wish my oldest daughter a Happy Birthday!! Her birth was such a blessing, she was born on Easter Sunday seven years ago, which was also her due date and happens to be my birthday as well! We have fun sharing birthdays, this picture was taken from her birthday party last year. 🙂 I am so blessed to have her as my daughter and she has helped me grow in my mothering experience a lot.

I’m going to beg for grace and skip the What I Wore links part of this post…I’m off to bed. 🙂 I will tell you the oldest two girls dresses came from children’s consignment sales, and my youngest daughter’s dress is a Gap dress that I found on ThredUP. It is not stained, the spot on her dress is water from breakfast. 😉
