$25 Gift Card To SweetBottoms Baby Boutique Giveaway!

I’ve gone back and forth between cloth diapering and disposables for the past few years. For several months now I switched Olivia back to cloth, mainly because I finally found a diaper rash cream that is safe to use on cloth diapers.

While I’ll admit that cloth diapering is not my favorite thing to do, I greatly enjoy the benefits of knowing that I’m saving a lot of money and that I’m not putting disposable diapers filled with chemicals on my child. Those two things keep me going. 🙂

I was delighted to discover Sweetbottoms baby boutique store as they are such an excellent resource for a mom that is cloth diapering! They have amazing customer service, and free shipping on ALL orders placed in the USA! I think that’s amazing for any company besides Amazon to be able to offer that all the time! 🙂

Sweetbottoms sent me some unbleached Indian prefold diapers to try on Olivia. I was impressed with the packaging of the diapers-they do a good job making you feel special when you open up the package! If you have never used prefold diapers, you are in for a shock when you first see them. They are not fluffy at all, but a huge piece of thin cloth! You have to wash and dry them for three times before use, and it shrinks them up to the right size and fluffs them up.

I have been using the prefolds with my favorite diaper cover-the Thirsties brand.  I especially love the cover that just has snaps, but I’m partial to snaps instead of velcro. 🙂 The diapers work really holding in the liquid. We haven’t had any leaks since using them, occasionally a dirty diaper will spill over onto the sides of the cover but it has never leaked out.

Prefolds are a great way to get started cloth diapering as it is cheaper on the budget. I have been able to invest in Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers, which work really well for us. Olivia is almost 2 and she is in the size mediums, and I have some small ones for the new baby-though I don’t put them on a new baby until the baby is around 2 months. They don’t seem to fit very well until the baby grows a bit.

Sweetbottoms also sells many other items besides cloth diapers! You can find Baby carriers, toys, diaper bags,  and many, many other products on their website.

Now for the fun part!! Sweetbottoms has graciously agreed to giveaway a $25 gift certificate to one of you!! To enter, use the form below.
