It’s been lovely being home this week! Sean ended up going to the homeschool convention in Arkansas without me, and I stayed at home getting some organizing done and enjoying sharing my birthday with our oldest daughter. She turned 10, and was so happy to be double digits. 🙂

This week I’m just sharing a picture of her that I took in Texas. It was so nice to see pansy flowers, they always bring a smile to my face! I think my enthusiasm for pansies are rubbing off on my girls, they adore them now as well!

We are looking forward to Easter Sunday, but it’s supposed to be in the 40’s here! I guess we will be using sweaters with our Easter dresses. Afterwards we have a family dinner with my husband’s family and the children are already looking forward to the food. 😉

I’ve been inspired to start reading to the children again after hearing Sarah Mackenzie speak in Texas and reading her brand new book, Read Aloud Family. We started the Heidi book and the children are all enjoying it!

Sophia turns 3 years old on Tuesday, which I can hardly believe! We are doing a combined birthday party for all our March birthdays Tuesday night. We found a good deal on a play kitchen off of Craigslist and I know she will love it! I’m always looking for things to keep her busy, especially during our school hours. 🙂

And with that little update, here is the link up!

  1. Thank you for hosting such a fun party each week. Today I brought a Collection of Easter Brunch menus, a colorful Easter Egg Bread Ring, and my favorite, a No Bake Cadbury Egg Cheesecake! I hope you enjoy them. Have a happy week! #OverTheMoon #WWBlogHop #ThursdayFavoriteThings
