How Progessence Plus Helped Me Get Pregnant, and Stay Pregnant!

Progessence Plus truly is an amazing natural supplement. I’ve waited until I reached my second trimester to share my experience, as I wanted to make sure my body reached the second trimester successfully. Progessence Plus truly did help me get pregnant, and also stay pregnant through the first trimester!

This is my 8th pregnancy (not counting the 2 very early miscarriages I’ve had). We never had trouble conceiving until we tried having our 6th baby, and then we just couldn’t get pregnant. My doctor put me on Progesterone pills, and a few months later we were pregnant. He checked my progesterone levels after I got pregnant and told me I was at a critically low level (I was at an 8) and to instantly come in and get progesterone shots.

Thus began the worst pregnancy I’ve ever gone through. I made it through, but I never want to repeat that pregnancy again, if I can help it.

When we got pregnant with our 7th baby once again I was on progesterone pills to conceive. I begged my doctor to let me try staying on the Progesterone pills, instead of the shots. My levels were never up to the highest level he wanted, but they were not dangerously low either, so I stayed on the pills for months.

This time around, our pregnancy was a complete shock.

I’m not joking.

We were not trying to get pregnant. In fact, we were doing everything we naturally could to prevent pregnancy. We were definitely open to having more children, just not quite yet.

The only difference this time around?

I had faithfully been taking Progessence Plus for 4 months.

My body seems to need Progesterone to conceive, and apparently it worked well enough to get past all the preventative methods we were using!

I honestly can’t wrap my brain around why it has helped so many ladies. The testimonies I’ve read are endless, from it helping super hard cycles, to severe mood swings related to hormones, headaches improving that are related to hormones, help during menopause and of course, helping ladies conceive.

There is absolutely no way I can guarantee this will help you with any of those things. It’s one of those supplements you just have to try for yourself and see if it will help. If you have complicated fertility issues, this one thing alone might not be enough. I don’t want to raise false hopes, but I also would love for more ladies to try this as it’s been such big help to me!

What is Progessence Plus?

Progessence Plus Serum, also referred to as PP or P+, contains USP-grade progesterone (from wild yam extract). This is a serum, not an oil. It’s a micronized (finely ground) bio-identical progesterone derived from will yam in a base of Vitamin E oil. It also contains Copaiba, Frankincense, Bergamot, Clove, and Peppermint essential oils to assist the Progessence in entering the cells easily.

Progesterone is a hormone that is produced in the body. It regulates the menstrual cycle and is crucial for pregnancy. You also NEED progesterone to have a healthy libido.

This serum tends to work well for teens who have cramps or headaches during their cycles. Simply apply a couple of drops to the large blood vessels that run up both sides of the neck.

For adult women trying to promote regular cycles and relief from PMS symptoms, use Progessence Plus for mild headaches, moodiness, anger, cramps, hot flashes, food cravings, etc.  You can use this up to every two hours throughout the day.

As you age, you have a natural decrease in progesterone production so this product can be very beneficial when you are starting a family. It’s good for women of all ages, if your teen daughter has a lot of hormonal issues connected to her cycle, I would definitely consider trying this.

I want you to note that USP-grade progesterone is NOT the same as ‘progestins,’ which are synthetic versions of progesterone sold by the pharmaceutical companies. Taking synthetic hormones is REALLY bad for you and can lead to life-threatening side effects. If you like to research, this is a topic worth researching.

The USP-grade progesterone in Progessence Plus Serum is natural from wild yam extract.

What is in Progessence Plus?

Progessence Plus is formulated specifically for women. It contains Copaiba, Sacred Frankincense, Cedarwood, Bergamot, Peppermint, and Clove essential oils to assist the Progessence in entering the cells easily.

All of these are calming and grounding, ideal for women who want to feel more relaxed and balanced. While those oils are amazing, it’s the naturally found progesterone from the wild yam extract that I think is the true secret here! The whole combination works so well together.

How To Use Progessence Plus?

Apply 2–4 drops of Progessence Plus to the stomach, feet, or inner thighs each day, rotating application sites to avoid applying to the same area two days in a row. For added effect, 1–2 extra drops may be applied. Do not exceed 2 applications per day.

I added a roller top to my bottle, so I could just roll it up and down each of my arms a few times, or roll it on my tummy or inner thighs. It worked so well!

After I got pregnant I even took 1-2 drops sublingually under my tongue for an extra strong dose. I didn’t keep this up long as I felt like just applying it topically was working, but that’s an option if a super strong dose is needed.

Do you want to know the really good news?

I never had to go on progesterone pills or shots this pregnancy! When I tested my progesterone levels right at 4 weeks they were already at a really healthy level, and when I tested a few weeks later they were still doing fine!

I faithfully continued the use of Progessence Plus until I felt confident in tapering off around 10 weeks. You could even go longer if you felt it was necessary. I was just so sick and felt like my hormones were working well at that point.

I’m keeping some on hand for after the birth, to use as needed for hormonal support. After Emily was born I was feeling a little weepy for a few days. I applied Progessence Plus a few times to my arms and started feeling so much better! I’m remembering that for this time around! Thankfully I’ve only struggled through Postpartum Depression once with our 2nd baby, but I don’t even like all the weepy feelings after birth when I want to be super happy!

  1. Did you use progessence plus during ovulation? I have this oil and love it so far! I want to be cautious of how and when to use it, I’ve also made a ‘fertility blend’ with clary sage and other oils like fennel and German chamomile. Do you have tips of when and when not to use these oils?

    1. I did use it during ovulation. Unlike a lot of the progesterone creams, I haven’t read anywhere that you need to use this only on certain days of the month.

  2. Hi There! I am currently trying to get pregnant again after we lost our 4th baby at 19 weeks in December. I am also on Progesterone from my Dr that will start 3 days after ovulation. I just ordered Progessence Plus, but wondering if would be ok to take with my progesterone from my dr. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!

  3. Hi Caroline, you mentioned that you were already on another progesterone and using PP. Were they suppositories? What mg? Did you wean off of them to use just Pp when you found out you were pregnant?

    1. During a different pregnancy I was on both progesterone shots, pills, and PP. During this last pregnancy I was only using PP for 3-4 months before I got pregnant, and I just stayed on that.

      1. Did you ever stop using it and cycle it, only using it during your luteal phase, after ovulation ? Or did you use it daily?

      2. Hello Caroline! Do you know if it is harmful to use PP during pregnancy if you have not been diagnosed with low progesterone? Thank you!

  4. Did you use P+ twice daily or only once? I am trying it out this month but have only been doing once a day. Wondering if I should increase to the max of 2 daily.

    1. I think you could bump up to morning and evening, if just evening isn’t working. Or, try bumping up how much you are applying at the evening time.

  5. I’m trying to conceive our second baby and I’m 37. We had no problems the first time but now it’s been over a year and nothing. In your experience are there any ways of knowing whether you are lacking progesterone?

    1. Napro Drs are also very well versed in progesterone etc. sometimes taking Progesterone during a certain time in your cycle is what people need to get pregnant. if prog is low they could be having really early miscarriages that just look like their period. or some ppl need to get on it asap when they find out they’re pregnant. worth seeking out someone well versed in this area, they could test your numbers and walk you through the steps. often times ppl will need a suppository of prescription progesterone. they do have bio identical progesterone (name brand prometrium)

  6. Can you use this throughout your whole cycle if you’re hoping for it to help with conception or only use it post ovulation?

    1. You use this your whole cycle! It’s different than the progesterone cream that you use only on certain days.

  7. When should you stop using PP? I have been using it since I was around 6 weeks pregnant and am now at 22 weeks. Thak you.

    1. My Doctor has told me to stay on progesterone until around 37 weeks. If you have an issue with low progesterone, I would think the same would be true of PP. Sometimes our bodies will kick in and start producing enough progesterone to cover the second and third trimester, but I don’t think it would hurt anything to stay on it until the last month.

  8. Hello! I found taking progessence plus SO beneficial during my my first trimester! For some reason I stopped taking it after 14 weeks. I’ve been doing more research and now I”m wishing I would have kept taking it throughout my pregnancy. I’m currently 34 weeks. What would the effects be if any if I re-started taking it now? WOuld it be beneficial? Harmful? Help with Labor? Not helpful with labor? I would love your insight after reading this article! Thanks so much!

    1. Hello! If you are doing good at 34 weeks, I really don’t think you would need to start taking it again, but that’s something to ask your doctor/midwife about!

  9. I was wondering what would happen if you used more then 2-4 drops a day? And if your TTC can you use this daily or just when your ovulating ?

    Thanks

    1. If you don’t see the results you are wanting, it’s ok to use more than 2-4 drops a day. You use it all month long, this isn’t a product that you adjust for where you are at in your cycle.

  10. I do seed cycling and chaste tree berry for hormonal and progesterone support. I’m going to ask my DR. but do you think it would be okay to use as well on top of those while TTC?

  11. You said you put a roller ball on it? Where did you buy it / how did you do that? Or did you just put it in a different bottle that had a roller ball?

  12. I’d love to be able to get pregnant again but I was essentially forced into getting my tubes tied by my husband (who passed away suddenly back in 2019) after our daughter was born in 2012. I’m getting ready to get married again and would love to be able to give my new husband a child. Though other than getting a reversal which is quite expensive there’s not much else I can do. I wish this could work for me though.
