Fashion Colors for Fall {Day 2}
Fall colors are my favorite colors to wear. Maybe it’s because I have brown hair and brown eyes and olive colored skin. I love pinks and purples but I have a lot more navy and browns in my wardrobe.
I’m not a stickler on wearing only the current year’s colors by any means. But I loved looking at this years color schemes because it gives me ideas if I want to sew something, go to the thrift store, or go shopping at some of my favorite stores. I’ve been at home most of the time for about a month now since I broke my foot and I’m getting restless! It’s time to get out of the house!
During the Love Fall series I’ll be sharing about fall fashion. Today I put some outfits together that I would love to wear myself. Hopefully it inspires you.
This outfit below is for plus size, but I like it myself. 🙂 I don’t own a chambray shirt but I want to go look for one!

When the weather turns chilly just throw a cute cardigan on over this dress. So adorable!

I love how you paired the chevron maxi with the green cardigan. Those colors scream fall to me! The plaid dress is super cute too.

Definitely the first one, but I’m biased since I actually ordered that very skirt the last time it was on Zulilly. It’s really nice. I’m looking forward to wearing it once it gets a little cooler here. 80 degrees in the afternoon and moleskin just don’t quite mix, lol.
They’re all adorable! I do like the skirt in #1…but I’d probably say #3. I really love the chevron skirt and the green cardi.
Definitely number 1…looks like stuff I have in my closet 🙂 I may even wear an outfit like that on Friday to a private school Harvest Festival! I LOVE FALL!
I love the first outfit. I just finished ordering a chambray shirt from Kohls to go with a brown skirt I have. Love it.
I really like #2 if the dress were a little longer! I absolutely love earth tones and especially autumn colors, but they aren’t my colors 🙁 My mother (and others) say that I look much better in bright colors so that’s what I usually try to wear. I like when I can match a bright top with an earth tone skirt though 🙂

#1 because each of those pieces is very versatile and can easily be worn with other outfits.

But #3 is a close 2nd because I JUST got that chevron maxi skirt (same color) a few days ago – my husband had ordered it as a surprise for my birthday 😉 And I wear it with a black shirt and green sweater 😉

My favorite outfit would be #2. But, when it comes to what I’d wear, it would have to be #1 (except for the boots; not my style). #2 and #3 would not be good on my body-type! =)
Outfit number 1 is my favorite because I still want to get riding boots!
I like number 1 the best but 2 is pretty good too. If it was a long-sleeved dress or had a cardigan it would probably be my top choice. It gets chilly in the fall.
I am definitely smitten with outfit 2. I love any shirt dress and will take it in all colors and patterns.
I am so excited with the Fall colors this year! I haven’t remembered a year that I was this pleased with Fall Fashion in a LONG time.
Definitely the first one. That necklace is beautiful and the shirt would go with just about anything.

Definitely the first one, and I’d add a nice bright red scarf! My hair is just about the same shade of brown as yours, but I have light green eyes and very fair skin, so most shades of brown, navy, and gray wash me out.
