What do you want your home to be?
What does God want it to be?
Waste no time wondering if you can do it.
The question is simply, will you?
Your weakness is itself a potent claim on divine mercy.”
“When I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 corinthians 12:10
Wow, this really spoke to me this morning, as I have been pondering changes that I need to make in my home and family schedule to make it more “peaceful.” Thanks!
Thank you so much for this. I needed this encouragement today! Many blessings, Lisa
I found your blog a few weeks ago and have enjoyed reading it everyday. I find encouragement and inspiration, as well as a graceful and humble example of how to honor God in my home, my wardrobe, and my heart. Blessings, Karen.
Wonderful encouragement straight from God’s Word. Thanks you!
It’s funny. Just the other day, I was troubled with what to do about my daughter’s desire for a more worldly swimsuit. I was trying to encourage modest swimwear. She told me she doesn’t like the stuff on her legs. I looked at Target.com to determine if they had something that would work. I found something, but still thought deep down it wasn’t good enough. (tank, shorts, and skirt). I went upstairs to put laundry on my bed and said a quick prayer.
I prayed, “Lord, help me to know what to do in this situation.”
His answer came quickly. I felt an instant answer come to mind.
“You already know what to do.”
I did too. Funny, right? But your post got me thinking about how a Christian home should be. Modesty is an important part of having a Christ centered home.
Thank you so much for this reminder!
Thank you for this! Much needed!
