I know that Christmas can put a strain on the budget. Even if you keep things super simple, it’s still a little extra expense than normal. I love giving gifts as it’s one of my love languages. But with six children it adds up so quickly.
Some ways that I like to save money on gifts are to shop on Zulily (playmobil and lego sets are a huge hit in our house. You can watch for them to pop up on this daily deals website).
I have shopped on ThredUP for gently used clothing as part of their gifts (we always try to do clothing as one gift).
Shopping at Kid’s Consignment sales for gently used toys are another great way to get nice toys for a cheaper price!
You can keep things simple and do the popular idea of three gifts for each child. Something to wear, something to read, and something they want is a good way to keep the costs down.
What if you still need a little bit extra? I have a lot of ladies on my Lilla Rose team who do a fantastic job of earning extra Christmas money, and November is the best selling month of the year! You could consider joining a company like Lilla Rose to earn a little bit extra income!
