What a week! We went to a local children’s consignment sale Wednesday, and the very next day two of my children came in from playing outside with very high fevers. We ended up all coming down with it except my husband and baby Deborah. I haven’t been that sick in a very long time. I lay in bed with a 103 temperature and became dehydrated where I couldn’t get out of bed. Thankfully my sweet husband ran to the store and got me some things to help get some nourishment back in me. I’m slowly on the mend, my children are all bouncing back great. My whole house needs scrubbed, and laundry is piled up high, but I’m thankful we are doing better.

Needless to say I was not feeling like taking any pictures for Modest Monday this week. 🙂 I asked my sister if she would be the model, so here are pictures of my sweet older sister Jennifer, who is my dearest friend in the world!

Blouse: East 5th from JCPenny

Skirt: Midnight Black Skirt (My sister and I both love wearing this skirt!)

Earrings: Kohls

Black Flats: Sonoma from Kohls

    • Hmm…I’ll take a look at it. I saw that some others have linked up the button ok so I’m not sure what is going on.

  1. The skirt looks like the one I bought at Khols this weekend! Wore it to church on Sunday. My husband is down sick with the same thing. Suddenly sick on Thursday evening with a 102.9 temp and can’t keep anything down as well. Slowly getting better….hope you are too!

  2. Oh no! Glad you are feeling better! I take it you did’t get to go to the Homeschool Convention you wanted to go to? 🙁
