Happy first day of fall!! It’s a chilly Monday morning, and I’m loving it! I’ve been waiting for fall to arrive, to bring out the cardigans. I didn’t bring cardigans along for my girls to church yesterday and they were freezing in the air conditioning! So the chilly morning is yet another reminder to go look through my tubs of clothes for cardigans.

The girls and I want to decorate for fall today, so we will try to do that after school! It’s always a fun thing to pull out new seasonal decor, though I often find myself wishing there was some awesome fall music. 🙂 My absolute favorite time of year is to decorate for Christmas and turn on some beautiful Christmas music.

This isn’t my favorite outfit, but it’s a look at a casual outfit that I wore to a campfire with friends last week. The dress is too short for my standards by itself, so I added the jeans underneath.

The Hues of Blue Flexi clip went perfectly with this outfit!

I think I’m cutting my hair this week. It grows so fast I don’t know why I ever stress about cutting it, but I always get so nervous and second guess myself before I do it! I love it long, but I also like it a little shorter once in a while.

What I Wore

Dress – Old Navy brand from ThredUP

Jeans – Stitch Fix Box several years ago

Shoes – Converse

Flexi Clip – Hues of Blue

Makeup – Savvy Minerals from Young Living

  1. I am looking forward to cooler weather, too. It has already cooled down some here in the southwest but we’ve been known to wear shorts at Christmastime. So cooler for us right now is in the 80s.

I ordered some of your hair accessories this morning. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I’m excited to try them.

    Blessings and thanks for hosting!

  2. I love the dress with jeans, it looks comfy and cute! I like listening to Vince Guaraldi in the fall (Jazz musician who wrote the music for the peanuts shows). To me, fall is synonymous with Charlie Brown and the gang! It may not be Christmas carols but it is still fun and nostalgic 🙂

p.s. thank you for the link up, it is great to be in community with other bloggers like this!
