I can’t seem to be successful at taking pictures that look amazing lately! It’s been raining a lot here in Missouri the past few weeks, making for a very wet October so far. We seem to have skipped the nice fall weather and are heading straight into winter like temperatures, they were calling for a chance of snow!

The rain had just stopped and we ran outside, but it was already late in the day and so cloudy that this was the best we could do.

We had an incredibly busy weekend! Sean and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on Friday, and then on Saturday Israel turned 13! We now have two teenagers in the house, which is crazy. There is good chance we won’t have anymore boys (if we have anymore children I’m not counting on having another boy, after five girls in a row!). It’s so strange to think that my days of John Deere tractors and pop guns are over!

Israel is our son who loves guns, so he did get three guns for his birthday (two are air soft guns for playing inside). We tried to make his 13th birthday super special. I filled up a container full of his favorite snack foods, which was a HUGE hit! Our oldest son turns 15 at the end of this month and is really hoping I do the same thing for him. 🙂

Both of our boys are probably going to start playing basketball at a local private school, so he was thrilled to get a Jordan t-shirt and sweatpants as a gift.

Lilla Rose is coming out with a bunch of new colors of the leather clips, along with matching hair sticks. They will be available on the 17th and I’m so excited about the options! I love this burgundy color, it’s perfect for fall! I’m totally wearing it backwards though. Ha! I realized that after I had worn it all day!

What I Wore

Dress – JCPenny on Clearance (similar found here)

Jean Jacket – my Mother In Law found this for me a thrift store.

  1. I love your busy life story from this past week. I miss homeschooling and being with my children(now adults)all the time. It was a blast. I live in Florida and it is still hot and humid. Happy Fall, Kippi
Ps. Thank you so much for hosting the party.
