We start our new school year officially today! I feel more prepared than last week, I tried to jump in and start with the little girls and realized I had to get our school area more organized and get the older ones ready to go for this week. We have a schedule written up and I’m curious to see how it goes. It always looks so doable on paper, real life is a totally different story!

August is not far away and right now I’m feeling better than I thought I would! My doctor started me on a second thyroid medicine and my energy levels seem to be improving from that. I don’t know how I feel better at this point in my pregnancy then I did even a month ago, but I’m thankful for it! I am having braxton hicks that are unpleasant, but I know that’s just normal at this point.

I have to admit, I’m SO tired of wearing the same old thing right now! I went and looked at all my non-maternity clothes in the hopes of possibly finding something that might fit and was pleasantly surprised to try this dress on and be able to wear it to church! It’s normally a dress that I wear when I’m nursing, but it has a lot of stretch to it and I felt it was more flattering than some of the maternity dresses I have right now.

I used hot rollers (I love these Conair curlers) to curl my hair. It still was slightly damp so it didn’t curl quite as well as normal, but it really doesn’t take long at all in the mornings with hot rollers.

Have an awesome Monday! I’ll try to give an update on Facebook with how our first day of school went!

  1. I love that dress! It looks like one I have for myself I got from Burlington coat Factory only with big blue flowers! They’re selling these wrap maxis for cheap over there 🙂 I would have bought more patterns, except apparently only the one I bought was short enough without having to hem! I hope all goes well when the baby comes 🙂 Congratulations!

  2. Thank you for hosting! My offerings this week include my Fish and Chips, a Broccoli and Cheddar Casserole and a delicious Tuna Steak with a Tomato Lime Sauce. Enjoy your week!
