I asked my oldest son to take the Modest Monday pictures for me, and he did a really great job! However he couldn’t quite seem to get a full length shot in, which is why you never see my shoes in these pictures. 🙂

A black dress is always a good essential item to have in your wardrobe! It is so hard to find a modest black dress! This is the shortest dress I have, but it covers my knees even when sitting, so I’m ok with that. The blue sweater brings some cheerful color for summer.

The dress and sweater both came from ThredUP. Instead of going out shopping a lot, I’ll take an hour at home to browse on ThredUP and get some new clothes for the children or myself. If you have never shopped at ThredUP before, you can take advantage of a special offer! If you sign up through this link and create an account, you should have a $15 credit to ThredUP that you can use on your first order! You can get something free, or close to free!

Modest_Monday_DressI had to share a picture of my youngest in her first maxi dress! It’s an Old Navy brand dress that I found at a consignment store and couldn’t pass it up! She wore it to church Sunday.

  1. Thank your introducing me to ThredUP. I love the black dress–it’s so easy to change them up. And what a sweetie in her maxi…hugable! Thanks for hosting another Modest Mondays. I always look forward to reading the posts. ~Pamela

  2. Beautiful outfit on you! Deborah is stylin’ in that maxi. I love them for little girls and recently gave one in a three-month size as a baby shower gift. (Wanted to avoid a frustrated crawler, so went for the smaller size.) I always look forward to your Modest Monday pics.

I agree about Lilla Rose bobbies. I have napped in them, and they did not budge. Blessings!
