This weekend was kind of crazy! Sean was gone with the boys to a convention in Texas, and I stayed home with the girls. It was so nice to have some downtime, and it was much quieter at home without the boys here. 😉 Saturday we did something a little crazy, we put our mini van on Craigslist and sold it that day! Now we have to get a new van before we leave for another convention in a few days!

Yes, we tend to do crazy things like that. We are getting a 12 passenger Ford Transit van, which will be a  huge jump in size from a mini van!

We had rain and thunderstorms most of Sunday afternoon. We ran outside really quick to take these pictures before the rain started again.

  1. You might laugh at this question… but what minivan did you have that can fit six kids? Seriously. I would love to be driving a minivan instead of the big clunker (15 passenger) I drive… We borrowed a minivan for a bit, but only the kids and I can fit into it… so we have to go back to the van. 🙂

    • If you get a Honda Odyssey that is a 2005 or newer, they fit 8! It has a middle seat that can pop in or out pretty easily!

  2. Hello Caroline,
I really like the new length of your hair! I had to comment, because we are about to put our Odyssey minivan on Craigs List, with six kids it is a little…cramped;). We have been looking at the Nissan NV, and I’m a little nervous about driving a bus as my daily driver. I would really appreciate it if you would share this process with us!
On a side note, a friend of mine was at th HS fair on Friday and told me “I met Mr.Modest Mom!” Lol…I know you are really Mrs.Sean!
Blessings to you and your family:).

  3. I really like this outfit on you!!! And love the denim jacket! Very feminine! One of the prettiest that I’ve seen on you. 🙂 Also like your new cut!

Its amazing how your faith will make you do things on the fly (when you know, that you know, and its in His timing)and then it ALL comes together!
Looking forward to seeing a pic of your new wheels! 😉
