Modest Monday and a Link Up!

Our 4th child turns 8 on Tuesday, and I thought it would be fun to put her pictures up for Modest Monday this week. I can’t believe that I’m going to have 4 children who are 8 and older! Time is flying by!

This maxi dress is from Target, and I can’t even reminder if we bought it new or at a consignment sale.  I love that we can keep wearing this dress in the winter months using a long sleeve Halftee for girls!

We found these sandals at Marshalls and we couldn’t resist getting them! We try to find shoes at consignment sales or thrift stores, but sometimes it’s just easier to get them at a good price when you find them new. 🙂 She was thrilled (being the second girl she gets a lot of hand me downs) and we have gotten a lot of good use out of them.

I used this X-Small Rose Gold Trinitee Flexi Clip to pull her hair back. This clip is sold out in the Rose Gold color but it is available still in the Silver color here.

I hope you all have a lovely week leading up to Christmas!

Link Up Time!

Please feel free to share posts about anything concerning being a godly, feminine woman. Topics include: modesty, being a wife, mother, homeschooler, homemaker, cooking, sewing, etc.

  1. Thank you for hosting. I love sharing with your readers and always find inspiration here. Have a blessed week! #OverTheMoon #WWBlogHop #ThursdayFavoriteThings

  2. I was hoping to link up with you today, but it seems it’s closed. 🙁 Hopefully it will be opened up again. Your little girl’s dress is adorable!

  3. Merry Christmas, Caroline, to you and your family. Praying your New Year is filled with many blessings!

  4. Absolutely gorgeous dress! I’m jealous myself! I often put a shirt underneath maxi dresses for more modesty too. I love floral patterns! I’m glad that more and more women are embracing modesty and traditional femininity, and teaching their daughters the same! In this “hook up” culture, dressing modestly sends the message that you are a lady of standards, and proud to be a woman! I write a blog, called a Lady of Reason that touches on such topics, and more such as radical feminism harming women, and conservative values.
