Modest Monday and a Link Up!

I’m sorry this Modest Monday is so late! I was in bed with a fever all day yesterday, and I just didn’t even feel like pulling out the computer to do this post. My children started attending church school this week, so I got up and dressed, hair curled, makeup on, and went and took these product photos of some new dresses after we dropped them off.

I’ve been waiting and waiting for these dresses to arrive! I knew I would love them, but they are even better in person! We have this rose maxi dress available on Deborah & Co. and guess what the best thing is? They have pockets!!!

There is also a Midi length dress, that comes with pockets. These dresses are soft, stretchy, and I think are very flattering!

They are available in sizes Small-3XL!

And now for the link up!

Link Up Time!

Please feel free to share posts about anything concerning being a godly, feminine woman. Topics include: modesty, being a wife, mother, homeschooler, homemaker, cooking, sewing, etc.

  1. Thank you for hosting the party, hope you are feeling better!

  2. Those are definitely very nice dresses. I especially like that the maxi dress is very, very long. I often find that even at not quite 5’6″ maxi dresses are not always that long.

  3. Both of these lengths are super flattering! Pockets are the best! I’ve followed your blog for years and it just keeps getting better.

  4. I feel your pain! I was sick all day yesterday and am really dragging today. Glad you are feeling better. Love this pretty floral dress!

  5. Alicia Mae says:

I love the midi dress length in particular! The florals and the light pink color are so lovely 🙂 You look beautiful in both, Caroline!

  6. Thank you for allowing me to share my links with all your great followers! I hope you can join me at #Overthemoon on Sunday, #WonderfulWednesday and #ThursdayFavoriteThings!

  7. Oh, I am so sorry you have been so ill! What dedication you have to persevere to get the link-up ready for us! God bless you for all you do, and I hope you feel completely better real soon!

  8. I hope you’re feeling better. Thank you for hosting, even though you are not well xx

  9. Those dresses are so beautiful! I especially love the maxi dress, the colors and the florals fit so well.

  10. What a lovely dress.

  11. I hope you feel better! I love the dresses you featured!

  12. I respect your beliefs, but I’m frustrated that many women are taught that our bodies are shameful and should be hidden. I like my shirts low cut because it’s more flattering and I hate the feeling of a collar close to my neck. I also like my shorts somewhat short because it’s hot, and if I wear something longer, my legs look stocky. However, I’m never tacky about it with everything hanging out. I just don’t see the need to go through extreme measures to hide in shame. Never do I lead a man (besides my husband) to believe I’m interested in him in a sexual way. I always show respect for my marriage. Shouldn’t that be enough?

    • Caroline says:

I don’t hide in shame at all. I’m not embarrassed by my body, I rather feel like I’m respecting it by dressing in a modest way. I think you can go overboard in trying to be modest, everyone has to establish their own standards, but for me I don’t want to show cleavage, or wear really short skirts, dresses, etc. I think we sometimes don’t realize how distracting it can be for men to have cleavage easy to look at, etc. when they are trying to control their thought life.

      • Maybe I’m naive, but it seems that they would be desensitized to what women are wearing by now. I’m talking about everyday summer clothing, by the way, not anything extremely revealing. Besides, it’s nearly impossible to control someone else’s thoughts, but I can control my own behavior.
