Modest Monday and a Link Up!

I just returned home from our last convention of the year! We briefly talked about going to Colorado for a convention on our drive home, but I think we are tired and will just stay home. Everyone always asks how we do it all, and it’s definitely not without the help of family! My sister and mother in law watched the 4 children we left at home this time, and my sister was so great about getting them to all their music lessons and orchestra practices! So thankful!

It was such a crazy weekend, I just didn’t have time to take any outfit pictures. I’ll share the one picture that excited me the most this weekend though.

I met Sarah Mackenzie from Read Aloud Revival! She is the author of Teaching From Rest, A Homeschooler’s Guide to Unshakeable Peace. That book has blessed me in so many different ways and I desperately wanted to meet her and give her a hug. She is as cute as can be, and just as sweet and joyful as I had imagined! It was so great to sit in on one of her early morning talks before the vendor hall opened up! If you haven’t read her book yet, make it a priority for your summer break from school!

I came home to children that were longing to talk, so we stayed up late being together as a family. Today is beyond full, I told the children I have one big week of work left and then May should calm down! The Homemaking Bundle starts this Wednesday and I can’t wait to share more information about it with you all!!

Enjoy the link up, and have a great Monday!

I went to high school with Sarah! She was younger then me. I also worked with her at a daycare she was the best story teller and she sings so lovely. Then she got married and started her beautiful family. Yes she is a beautiful young lady, inside and out. She is so kind and loving to everyone.

  5. Caroline, this is such a good post, so full of wisdom. We all grow and change and not all change is compromise, as you’ve said so well. We need to give grace to one another whenever we can. Thanks for your faithfulness to your ministry.
