Modest Monday and a Link Up!

This past week has been one full of long talks with my husband (as long as they can get with six children under 13 in the house!), a Saturday retreat for mothers and daughters where I won a gift certificate for a sweet lady to come in my home and help me organize (she does it for a living!), and Sunday was spent at church, a wonderful nap when I got home, and then off to go visit with friends. It was a busy week, but I’ve loved seeing my family rally together this week as we are busy with LulaRoe and homeschooling.

What I Wore

Skirt – LulaRoe Maxi

(we are getting more maxi skirts in later this week in our group!)

White lace top – Downeast Basics (no longer available)

Cardigan – from a Stitch Fix Box

Earrings – Meadowland Design  Etsy store

Flexi Clip – Lilla Rose

Link Up Time!

Please feel free to share posts about anything concerning being a godly, feminine woman. Topics include: modesty, being a wife, mother, homeschooler, homemaker, cooking, sewing, etc.

  1. I love this outfit on you. The Tan belt finishes the look off nicely. Thank you for hosting. I hope you can join mine on Thursday? x

  2. Wonderful that you can make time for those conversations with your husband! And how fun that you got to attend a mother-daughter event; I enjoy those special times with my girls, too. 🙂

  3. How do you get that clip to stay in your hair? I have one like it but it slides right out.

    • With an XS clip I gather quite a bit more hair to make it secure. I just have to make sure the flexi clip is tight when I put it in, then it won’t slide around. So that means using more hair than you might think you need. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  4. Thanks for hosting the linkup! You look beautiful and I love the belted cardigan on you.

  5. I just had to comment and say that this outfit is absolutely beautiful on you! The colors and the belt suit you perfectly.

  6. You look seriously amazing in your outfit! LOVE the skirt! Thanks for sharing!
