After Christmas it was so nice to have a week where we were off school, and it was more relaxed. No music lessons (and probably much to our teacher’s dismay, no practice!). The children went to my mother-in-law’s house, she lives in the country and it’s become a tradition that the children go there for a few days on Christmas break and play. I think she is the most amazing mother-in-law, as I don’t know many that would take all 6 of my children at once! I’m so thankful for her help and her constant offers of help!

It was nice to have it quiet here at the house. My big project for homeschooling was to sort my 4 bookcases in our school room area, and get them organized. I had books just thrown up there, and it was driving me a little crazy! Growing up my mom always had our bookcases organized by subject, so it was easy to find something. I now have them all organized, history in one section, science in another….it’s wonderful!

We start our second semester of school again today, and while I’m not as prepared as I wanted to be, I’m excited to get back at it.

For Christmas the girls all received these matching dresses from my sister and brother-in-law. They are from Costco, and were so reasonable! I love getting clothes for my girls there. I don’t like short sleeves dresses in the winter months, but these were so pretty. They wore them to church today, and it’s the first time that all four girls have been matching. So sweet! They are all getting so big. I now have a 8, 7, 5, and 21 month old girls. *Sniff*

I’m not crazy about this outfit. It was a really busy morning getting ready for church, and Sean had to go early so I was on my own to get everyone ready. I don’t think the belt was a really good touch, but not every outfit has to be perfect. 🙂

I do love the cardigan, it was a christmas present from Sean and my oldest daughter. They went shopping at Marshalls and each child picked me out one item. It was so sweet! I paired it with a LulaRoe maxi skirt, which are so comfortable!

What I Wore

Skirt – LulaRoe Maxi Skirt

Tank – Navy Blue Lace Tank from Deborah & Co.

Cardigan – Marshalls

Nude Flats – Zulily

Makeup – Younique

Flexi Clip – Mini dangle clip from Lilla Rose

  2. I’m with you on the outfit. I’m the first one to say tan/cream goes with everything, but with this skirt, no. Maybe it’s the belt and black top, I don’t know. But I think it’s the cardigan. The cardigan is beautiful by itself, but isn’t working with this outfit.

The dresses are cute though. 😊

  3. I love your hair piece – that is beautiful. Everyone looks amazing, for sure. Thank you for the link up! 🙂 Have a blessed 2017!

  4. Your daughters look so cute in their dresses!

  5. Caroline, thanks for faithfully hosting every week. I love the girls outfits, and even though it wasn’t your favorite, I like your outfit, too. Happy 2017!

Adorable dresses on the girls! Baby #6 is a girl so I will soon have four girls to be all matchy. 🙂 Happy New Year!

    Those matching dresses are precious.

The matching dresses look like so much fun! It is good to know where to find matching dresses to span a big age/size gap. My only girl is 7 and still hopes for a sister! What a sweet Christmas gift!
I like your outfit, but I know sometimes it just doesn’t “feel” right when it’s on you. And I totally understand doing what works when you’re getting everyone ready by yourself for church!
On the homeschooling book reorganization, my mother always kept ours organized by subject too and it was so helpful. She recently moved, so I will have to relearn where each subject will be in her new house so we can go borrow books easily.
