It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but I’ve had two Thanksgiving meals already! They were both super yummy.  My only complaint around Thanksgiving is the lack of chocolate. Can you tell I prefer chocolate dessert over anything else? I had my pumpkin pie, but honestly I would rather have had chocolate pie.

Ok, moving on because that’s not even worth complaining about!

I’ve been excited to share the Modest Monday pictures with you this week. You will probably never guess why!

Yellow skirt with blue sweater from Stitch Fix.

The blue sweater is brand new, and I love it! It’s from my latest Stitch Fix box (full review coming this week). You wouldn’t believe how soft and snuggly it is.

The yellow skirt is from ThredUP, and it’s actually a terry cloth fabric. Think bathrobe. 🙂 It was comfortable, but the sweater really helps to dress it up.

Ok, look at this photo! This is what I’ve been excited to show you. The soft fading in the background, the excellent lighting…this was taken on my new iPhone 7 Plus phone! Yes, we are huge Apple people around here, and when Sean told me how good the new camera was on the 7 Plus I quickly decided to get it. I was worried that I wouldn’t like how big it is, but I quickly adjusted to holding a larger phone and absolutely love it now!

I know this isn’t a techy blog, I just had to share my excitement with you all. 🙂

Side braid, pulled back into a Flexi Clip

I was ready to do something a little different with my hair, so I did a french braid about halfway down, then just kept braiding it normal and tucked it under a ponytail, which I used a medium size Flexi Clip to pull it back in. Most people don’t use a medium for a ponytail, I just have thicker hair.

Medium Flexi Clip for a ponytail with thick hair!

This clip goes with so many different outfits!

Since we are chatting about Flexi Clips, I’m beyond excited to tell you that a super duper good Black Friday sale will be happening at Lilla Rose!! Stay tuned for all the details, but you can go ahead and register on the website as a new customer, so you will make sure to get all the details emailed to you. It’s going to be great!

  2. Last year we had a chocolate cream pie as well as our pumpkin pie for dessert. I always let the kids pick the types of pies we make. My son is the one who wanted chocolate. I of course, was all for it!

  3. That sweater is really nice!

I have to use a medium sized flexi for my ponytails, too.

  6. Caroline,

I love the blue cowl neck sweater! It looks like it will be great for fall and winter. Thanks for hosting and have a great Thanksgiving!
