Sean and I went out for an early Valentine’s Day date Friday for lunch. (If you follow me on Instagram you can see the picture of us both together!). It was so nice to get away somewhere quiet and sit and talk together! On our way to eat he received some sobering news, so we sat and talked about how fragile life, and marriage really is.
I was thankful that we went on our date Friday, because I woke up sick Saturday. Sophia has been all over the place with her sleeping habits lately. One night she sleeps all night long (Hurray! I feel like crying tears of joy in the morning!). The next night she is up 2-3 times. Add that, along with not getting enough rest, and I started having some yucky breastfeeding issues. Thankfully I stayed in bed all day Saturday and Sunday, and while it’s not gone, I’m doing better.
In times like that, frozen pizzas in the freezer are so wonderful. 🙂
The blue skirt is a brand new skirt we are offering at Deborah & Co. (the link to the skirt will be up soon!).I really liked how twirly and comfortable it is. The waistband is stretchy, so it fits a postpartum mom rather well. 😉 I wore actual high heels on our date, but after lunch we went to IKEA and I brought these shoes to wear instead of heels while we shopped. I have no clue how business women wear heals all day long, but I’m definitely not cut out for that!
I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day! I’d love to hear what you did!
