Modest Monday and a Link Up!

My children became sick this week, we think it is hand, foot and mouth disease they picked up from some friends. It’s hard to not pass things along when you go to a church with large families, and the children are best of friends. 🙂

I didn’t get a change to take pictures this week, so I thought I would repost an outfit from a few years ago.

Gray Maxi Skirt for Modest Monday

I liked having bangs for awhile..every few years I like to do something different and I’m thinking of doing a new hairstyle again. I probably won’t cut bangs though.

Modest Monday Outfit

I like using scarves with sweaters or shirts that are lower cut. If I’m not in the mood to wear a cami, I’ll just put a scarf on and it makes the shirt modest!

My hair is so thick that it would take forever to use a curling iron. I like hot rollers, and there is a set on Zulily right now that is really similar to the one I use.

Don’t forget that our 30 Days of Loving Your Man challenge starts today! We will start doing day one and sharing ideas in the Facebook group (you get access to the group after you purchase the bundle). We would love to have you join us!

  1. You look fabulous!!

  2. So sorry your kids are sick. Our kids just had it a couple of months ago. It’s not fun. Most of them did ok, but my three year old was absolutely miserable. We ended up doing oatmeal and coconut oil soaks with warm water, that gave him relief for at least a little while. Hope it passes quickly for your family.

  3. I love your bangs they look really good on you 🙂

  4. Sorry to hear that your kids are sick! My youngest has been sick twice this month, and now the hubby has it. 🙁 No fun! Thanks for hosting, and have a great week!
