Sometimes outfits just come together without any thought, and other times you have to think through what you want the final look to be. This outfit took a little bit of thought. I’ve really missed wearing belts. Nursing moms and belts are not normally best friends. However I decided to just try it and managed to make it through the day ok! I’ll definitely try some other outfits using this belt.
Olivia had earned a bike ride as a reward using the Character Badges program. Sean had been promising to take her for awhile, but life gets crazy busy so we decided to do it while our older children were at orchestra practice on Saturday morning.
I was originally going to wear my brown boots with this outfit but decided to come along and go for a walk, so I wore my new Keds shoes that I found on ThredUP. I had just tried on these shoes at Kohls a few months ago, but I didn’t want to spend $50 on them. Before I knew it, these popped up for sale in my size on ThredUP and I grabbed them! I think they were $15. Very comfortable and they look better with skirts than regular tennis shoes!
I love this time of year. The weather is beautiful, the trees are all turning different colors, hot chocolate and apple cider is a yummy treat.
I used an X-Small Hues of Blue flexi clip to pull my hair back. This is one of my favorite clips!
Guess what? Lilla Rose is totally spoiling us with releasing some new flexi clips today, and adding a sale on them!
Today and tomorrow only you can save 15% off the brand new releases, and 15% off the limited releases (you will see the sale prices online to know which ones they are). Plus, you also get FREE shipping on orders over $50! Lilla Rose ships internationally, and as far as I’m aware the free shipping is good on those orders as well!
