Modest Monday and A Link Up!

Summer is so much fun! My boys have been in swim lessons all week, and my wonderful sister is taking them along with her boys. It’s been a quieter week at home with them gone everyday for a few hours. I blew up a little swimming pool I had gotten from Zulily and all the children had a blast one evening. Popsicles outside, baseball on Saturday mornings, legos scattered all over the living room floor for hours…I love it all! This has been the best summer break that I can remember. It’s been so good for the children and I.

We start school back up again in two weeks. Yikes! I’m not ready, and honestly I’m not super excited at this point. We took May and June off though, and I need plenty of time during the school year with a new baby and running a business.

Planning a new school year!

Getting the books out to start planning the new school year!

Make Over Your Mornings Course will transform your whole life!

Today the Make Over Your Mornings Facebook group I created is starting the course all over again. You still have time to join! Just grab the course here, and ask to join the Facebook group here. We have over 1,000 members now! I’ve been through it once, but I’m going through it all over again. Creating a good evening and morning routine does not happen overnight.

Our oldest son took pictures for me on my phone, and he didn’t realize that he was filming a video for awhile. I wasn’t even ready to take pictures yet, you can see the short film on my Instagram account if you want!

I love your combination of a blue blouse with that green skirt! Glad you’re enjoying your summer school break.

  3. Hi Caroline, looks like you’re planning is going pretty well! Will you be posting your chosen curriculum for this new year? I’d love to see what resources you’re using this year. I am also trying to figure out which planner I need for homeschooling. Any suggestions?

  4. We want to start Sophie in swim lessons soon. When did your boys start? What age, we’re kind of worried she’s a little young. And how can school be starting up so soon? Didn’t we just start summer?

My boys are 9 and 11, my oldest already knows how to swim but is going to learn a few new things and to have fun. 🙂 We did swim lessons with a 5 year old a few years ago, but she wasn’t ready for it.

We take May and June off and start the middle of July. I need to have plenty of time during the school year to get all our hours in, since I’m juggling a lot (new baby and a business). 🙂

  5. Good morning! Here’s hoping you had a most splendid weekend. We wanted to say hello and thank you for hosting another fabulous party.

    Thanks a bunch,
    Denise W. & Aubrie B.
