Modest 4th of July outfits for Women!

Around our household the 4th of July is a pretty big deal. For years my husband and brother in law have been in charge of putting together a day of celebration for our church family. We meet at my mother in law’s farm, and have speeches, skits, music, games, food and good fellowship. It’s lots of fun!

Whether you have a 4th of July gathering you attend every year or not, a lot of us love to wear patriot colors on that day. While this is the average outfit found on the 4th, you can still put together a cute but modesty 4th of july outfit for women. Let’s look at other options besides cutoff shorts.

Fourth of July Outfit

Normally the 4th of July is hot (at least in the midwest where we live it is!). You definitely need to keep that in mind if you are going to be outside all day. I normally choose a denim skirt and pair it with some sort of red and blue combination.

4th of July outfit that is modest and classic! The shirt is from gap, and the scarf was a mother’s day present from one of my sons. 🙂 It was from Marshalls.

Fourth of July Flexi Clip! I’m wearing last year’s July Flexi of the Month in my hair. Make sure you come back tomorrow to see the new July Flexi Of the Month released early!!

Denim_SkirtMake sure and add a splash of red somewhere if you are wearing all blue! I’m wearing the rainbow denim skirt we carry, and normally wear this skirt to our 4th of July gatherings.

Red and White outfit for the 4th of July! After looking through my closet I realized I didn’t have a true red shirt. This is more of a coral color but it works just fine!

Blue and Red combination for the 4th of July! Did you know you can use Flexi Clips on scarfs? They add such a cute touch! I’m wearing the striped infinity scarfwe sell at Deborah & Co.

I wrapped a blue scarf around my head for an easy headband look! I wrapped a blue scarf around my head twice and tied it underneath.

Flower Pin This 4th of July flower pin is super cute!

If you are going to a more fancy 4th of July gathering, you have plenty of options other than a denim skirt!

Red Chevron Skirt A red chevron skirt paired with a chambray shirt is adorable.

Blue Dress with Halftee

This is an outfit I wore last July. A red halftee under the dress adds a modest option without a lot of extra bulk.

Blue Striped Skirt This is a new striped cotton skirt we are selling at Deborah & Co. and it would look adorable for the 4th of July!

  1. You have the teeniest waist and tummy after having five babies! Do you recommend tummy exercises or did you wrap your tummy after each baby? I love how you are always modest AND feminine 🙂 it’s a lovely breath of fresh air!

  2. Thanks for sharing these great ideas. I love the idea of putting a flexi clip on a scarf! I’m gonna have to give that a try.

  3. I love this outfit, but live in south Texas and would perish in the heat. I like your last years outfit better. LOL Thanks for sharing.
