Modest Monday and a Link Up!

Dress with sweater shrug and boots. I couldn't wear this dress in January without my warm fleece lined leggings from Deborah & Co! ( )

Wearing pink when you have the winter blahs can be quite uplifting! I love wearing pink and was happy to put together another pink outfit. 🙂  It makes me think of spring flowers.

Sean and I went on a business date Friday night. We sat at Chick Fil A for 2 hours planning out the future of Deborah & Co. this year. I’m really excited with what we came up with. Of course we also threw in a little shopping, but it was at Mardel’s for homeschool books. 🙂

I normally wear my dresses a few inches longer then this, but this was a dress that came from Twice (affiliate links included) and I wasn’t sure exactly how long it would be on me. I won’t wear it in the summer without adding some length, but I went ahead and wore it with fleece lined leggings and my brown boots.

Braided Hair with Flexi Clip | themodestmomblog.comI wore my hair all day like this. When I take a few extra minutes to braid my hair I love putting it up in a flexi clip! I have a tutorial for the dutch braid hairstyle here.

  1. Love your outfit, and love getting wardrobe ideas from you! I have a peach sweater similar to your pink one, and hadn’t thought of tying it at the waist. My grey maxi skirt from Deborah & Co would look great with peach. Thank you for all of your sweet ideas! Blessings!

  2. I LOVE that dress you are wearing! Very pretty 🙂

  3. Thanks for hosting.
    Lovely outfit 🙂
    Blessings 🙂

  4. You look pretty in pink, Caroline, and you have inspired me to wear this very pretty soft pink sweater as I get ready to go out for groceries. BTW, my hubby and I just had a business date lunch at Panera last week as we plan the future of Longing End 🙂 Blessings…

  5. I love fleece lined leggings, and I’ve seemed to have misplaced the black pair that I USED to have! I’ll have to check out your link for the leggings you’re wearing.

  6. I love that dress! So cute!

  7. I know what you mean….pink can be such a nice color to wear for this season! I planned to wear pink yesterday for our church services but, we got snowed in! So much for that! 🙂 Your sweater is so pretty! Blessings your way!

  8. I love this outfit!! It looks very pretty. Pink is my favorite color.

  12. Love your outfit. You look lovely!

  13. You look wonderful and that dress length is still very modest. Looks perfect with those boots!

  14. Thanks, Carolyn, for hosting again. I always love seeing what you wore. I love seeing posts about homeschool. That is so near and dear to my heart for so many years.
