Last week I shared that we would have a contest for the last Modest Monday of the year! We have nine lovely entries and I’m thankful for everyone who emailed me! One person who submitted photos will win a $20 gift card to Deborah & Co. In order for the contest to work, we need people to vote! Please leave a comment with your favorite entry number. The person with the most votes by Thursday at midnight will win! 🙂
Don’t forget that our end of year sale at Deborah & Co. is almost over!
My top is a Lewis brand (from a thrift store), and my skirt is 100% Linen Talbots brand (Thrift store). My shoes are Skechers – a gift from a friend. I put my hair up in a Gibson Tuck and I used a size small, Lilla Rose Festive Fallen Leaf Clip. And then I put on a head-covering from Hannah’s Headcoverings.
Skirt is a Bobbie Brooks Woodland Brown
Brown T-Shirt-Thrift Store
Boots -The boots are from Marti&Liz, a somewhat local shoe store chain that sells overstock, designer samples, department store returns, etc.
Headcovering – headcovering is a Red Roses Lurex Tichel from Hannah’s Headcoverings.
Flexi Clip- Princess Tiara Antique Brass clip from Lilla Rose
This story was sent along with the entry and I wanted to share it. 🙂
Pink vest: Thrift store
Black maxi skirt: Thrift store
Scarf: Gift from my mom.
Shoes: Black cute and comfy flats purchased at Famous Footwear. In the winter I have also worn black boots
Leggings: Black micro fleece leggings from Deborah and Co. – LOVE THESE!
Hair Clip: This year I was a first time Lilla Rose customer and I love the two clips I bought. I almost always wear my hair up with a large clip.
I’m a teenager (18) and I really enjoy reading your blog. Here are some pictures of me in the outfit I wore for Christmas. It’s very simple, but that’s mostly what I wear: simple and comfortable.
The dress is homemade, the turtleneck I found at a thrift store, and the boots I found a couple of weeks ago at Ross. They’re actually almost knee-high, and I highly recommend them for warmth. They’re suade and *so* cozy.
The skirt I made. The pattern for it comes from Joanns. The boots are from Payless and the scarf from Kohls. My favorite dressy outfit!
