Modest Monday and a link up!

Can I just start by telling you how much your comments on my last post regarding wearing skirts have blessed me? That post has been on my heart for a while now, but I knew it would take quite a bit of time to sit down and get my thoughts out. I was nervous to hit the publish button, hoping that I had written my thoughts down clearly, and I was so relieved when ladies could understand what I was trying to say. Praise the Lord!

My husband took these pictures of me yesterday and told me to try and look awake for just a few minutes. I can’t remember when I’ve been as tired as I was yesterday. We were up late on Saturday with family that was over and I sure felt it Sunday morning!

Link Up Time!

Please feel free to share posts about anything concerning being a godly feminine woman. Topics include:  modesty, being a wife, mother, homeschooler, homemaker, cooking, sewing, etc.

Please note: My blog is a bit different as I represent a business and a blog. While I love to have you all link up your modest clothing outfits, ect. please be considerate of the fact that I own a modest clothing company, and I would ask that you refrain from linking up posts that are in conflict with that-i.e reviewing other companies clothes, etc. That being said, if you forget please do not be offended if I take down your post. Thank you!

Please grab the button below and share on your blog post so others can come and join in the link up as well! You can grab the code to this button on the right hand side of the blog.

This post is part of the weekly Christian Home Magazine, as the Modest Fashion post.

  1. Thank you Caroline for your continued dedication to spreading the word of modesty and for your link ups! You have blessed our daughters and our family!

  2. I LOVE your maxi dress! It is so cute! You look BEATUTIFUL even if you were tired! I was also very tired this weekend! No time for a nap though!

  3. You are so pretty and I simply adore your dress!

  4. OK, so this is something I could totally wear! I have to admit, I often see your Modest Monday posts and think that modesty is just too boring (I don’t mean that to be offensive). I just have different tastes in clothing, and I find it really hard to find clothing that I actually think is cute and modest. But this dress, I LOVE! Thanks for sharing today 🙂

I’m not offended! I know compared to a lot of other ladies the clothes I wear are boring. 🙂 We all have different tastes. I love other styles of clothes, I just don’t have the time or money to dress the way I’d love to dress! 🙂

      • danielle B says:

Actually w/a few exceptions I like most of your tops. Sometimes the skirts, but I have this thing of not wearing long skirts, I’m VERY short, so long skirts just don’t like right on me.

I”m the opposite of the above poster, most sites that show modest clothing isn’t my taste at all. Too jumperesk, I’d rather see CURRENT fashions made modest. And Caroline, I think you do that. 🙂

        • danielle B says:

And although I’m not an all skirts all the time person. you have given me a lot to think about as far as tops go. not saying I ever walked around w/my boobs hanging out or anything lol. but I’m more mindful of how to dress. 🙂 And my husband isn’t one to tell me that’s too low cut, or whatever. It’s my own judgment I use.

        • I’m totally not into jumpers either 🙂 In fact, right now I’m wearing shorts and a cute top with a half tee underneath. If I could find some cute dresses or skirts, I’d be wearing them for sure!

  5. Oh! I love your hair that way! It’s “simply smashing”! (LOL! Sorry, I’m in a British kind of mood today. 😀 )

  6. BRANDI WATSON says:

I was wondering how you nursed in these maxi dresses! The half tee is genius! I need to get me one. I wore a maxi dress with a tshirt underneath the other day and it was a disaster to nurse in. Thanks for the tip! 🙂

  7. I’m afraid I’m too short for maxi dresses. I have to stick with maxi skirts and pull them up.

Where do you like to buy shoes? I really need to find more modesty-friendly ones.

  8. Your last post on modestly dressing was so meaningful to me. I am currently challenging myself by dressing in skirts and dresses to feel more feminine. I find that I actually do feel much more feminine wearing them, and it’s definitely something I will continue to do. The maxi-dress in this post is so cute!

  9. danielle B says:

    LOVE the dress!

  10. Brandi Harris says:

I love how you paired the shirt with your dress! I am always trying to figure out how to make my very skimpy topped dresses more modest! Especially in the “chest” area.
    You look wonderful!

  11. Hannah Irene says:

I was so encouraged by your post on wearing dresses/skirts all the time and your Modest Monday post always gives me inspiration!
I do have one question; how do you like the half tee? Is it comfortable and truly
functional? I have been thinking of buying one (or the modest tee you sell) for some time but it’s a little pricey for not knowing if it will actually work.
Thank-you for being such a blessing! God Bless.

  12. Very nice! I think the colors really set off your skin tone nicely, too. Great idea for the half-tee and maxi dress for nursing a baby.
