Ahh…summer days. The word summer brings to mind sprinklers, swimming, bubbles outside, playing until dark, riding bikes, and of course popsicles! I just have to share a new recipe with you all that I found for a yummy popsicle!
When we buy popsicles in the store I always get the Eddy’s Fruit popsicles. Food coloring is almost always banned in our home, and I try hard to keep high fructose corn syrup out of our home as well.
Anyway, I have fond memories of going to my Aunt’s house when I was little and getting special treats. One of the treats we always had were fudge popsicles. My parents never bought those, but I’ve never forgotten how much I liked them! So when I saw a recipe where you could actually make fudge popsicles yourself, AND the recipe claimed they were better then the original ones you buy? I had to try!
They were a huge success! I restrained myself and only ate one, but my husband gobbled two down last night.
I didn’t have popsicle molds so I bought some at walmart. They were $2.00 for a set that makes four popsicles. On my wish list is this super nice popsicle set, but like I said that’s on my wish list.
Go here to get the recipe for these yummy pops.

We bought the same ones at Walmart. WE have been making our own fruit juice bars, since the store bought popscicles have some mch food dye in them. My husband and I were just taking about fudge pops. Thanks for the link!
I was just craving pudding pops yesterday! This may satisfy my sweet tooth. I would love a mold like that; I use wooden sticks and paper cups. I saw one somewhere that freezes them in under an hour, but it costs $40-50.
This looks so yummy! I can’t wait to make these with my daughter!
Thank you so much for sharing this. One thing I’m trying to do in our house this summer is healthy snacks – I’m sure this will be a big hit.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the fudge pops!
