The 1500 Facebook Likes Giveaway!

This giveaway has now ended.

I promised my Facebook fans that once we hit 1500 "likes" on Facebook that there would be a giveaway! I so enjoy all of my followers on Facebook, and love some of the conversations that go on there! I find it comical that about two years ago I didn't even know what Facebook was! Little did I know.... :)

To thank all of my followers for being such great fans, I wanted to do a giveaway!

I have three copies of Sarah Mae's "31 Days To Clean" E-book to give away!
(Thanks to Far Above Rubies!)

I've written about this E-book before here. Let me just say I have found this the most inspiring E-book I have ever read. I'm delighted to be able to bless three people with a copy!

I also am giving away a $15.00 coupon to Lilla Rose!

This coupon can be used on any product on the Lilla Rose website that is $15.00 or less! I'll give you a hint, the flexi clips are my favorite! I have been wearing the Princess Tiara Bobby Pins in my hair lately, and they are so pretty as well!

To enter, I'm trying out a new type of entry form! Just follow the steps below in the PunchTag. If you can't get it to work, just leave one comment letting me know what your favorite topic has been lately on The Modest Mom blog!

  3. Growing up being taught fabulous included plastic surgery, I've been enjoying learning what makes a modest woman fabulous. Thanks!

  4. I have liked the frumpy to fabulous! It really made me think more about how I look for my husband. I also have liked the She Wears Skirts, as I have been feeling convicted about that. My husband approves of modest pants and shorts, but I have been wearing more skirts, and he seems to like it.

Love the Frumpy or Fabulous series right now. I had a terrible habit of still being in my sweats when my husband got home. This has me looking at my appearance in a whole new way.

  12. I, too, like the Frumpy/Fabulous series. My husband told me this week that he likes it when I wear cute shirts with cap sleeves and a little bit of frill instead of just t-shirts every day. I was so happy to hear him say what he specifically liked because now I know how to please him!

  28. I am enjoying the Frumpy to Fabulous Wife series. I like how it encourages us to focus on our husbands and not just on ourselves, our homes, and our children. I am new to being a full-time homemaker and it's a good reminder and encourager for me!

  29. Frumpy to Fabulous was a great series! Really got me thinking... and justified me -- I'm the one who doesn't feel right NOT doing my hair if I'm not going anywhere that day, and your series helped me feel like that absolutely isn't a waste of my time!

  33. I like the Frumpy/Fabulous topic although I'm still working on applying it. My hubby like me "natural" in the makeup department but he loves old fashioned dresses....which I have none. :-) But we've been talking about what kind of styles might work that he likes, until I get time to sew!

  51. The link didn't work for me. I actually enjoy the frumpy to fabulous posts, especially the link up to here about how other moms are changing. I've been married for 12 years and have 6 beautiful kids. I know that my husband takes pride in having a beautiful wife. It is not a shallow thing, it is something that makes him feel blessed...and I've found the most beautiful thing that a wife can do, right off the bat before making any changes at all is smile and laugh more.

I have loved just about everything you have posted lately!!!! I especially loved the skirt series, you began that reight after God convicted me on my clothing and I had just begun to wear only skirts. That one really helped.

I've also enjoyed the Frumpy or Fabulous posts. I'm not married yet, but I anticipate that I will eventually and I had been thinking about appearance. For me right now, just wearing a skirt around the house I feel dressed up, but I like to fix my hair and such for myself, let alone for a husband. I will file these tips away for future use!

Thank you for your blog, I truly gain so much encouragement from it.

  54. Hello Caroline,

The post 'A Random Act of Kindness' brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful affirmation of you, and all mothers. And for me - a timely reminder that we are being watched, a family with 7 children is not common where we live and people notice us.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden... In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:14,16)

    Blessings,
    Angela
